Purpose
Parent property references are not mandatory. However, if the property applied for is part of a recent subdivision or has been created within the current year, supplying this information may result in faster delivery of the certificate.
If the property was created in the current calendar year or is part of a recent subdivision, the liability for the property is calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the parent property's liability.
What information will I need to complete this section?
You will need to provide at least one of the below:
- volume and folio numbers
- lot and plan numbers
- crown references
- book and memorial details.
What if there is more than one parent property?
You can add up to 5 parent property references. If there is more than one parent property, enter at least one reference for each.
