Definitions
There are two types of payment return cycles, monthly and annual.
A monthly payment cycle means the customer must lodge a return each month.
The return is available mid-month online via PTX Express and is due on the 7th day of the following month unless that day is on a weekend or public holiday, in which case it is due the next working day.
A separate monthly return is not issued for the month of June.
An annual payment cycle means that no monthly returns are required during the financial year. Customers on an annual payment cycle lodge a return, that is complete the Annual Reconciliation, once a year rather than every month.
