Commencement date

Data maintenance advice

The field titled Victorian Reconciliation Period should reflect the date you started to employ in Victoria. The field titled Interstate Reconciliation Period should reflect the date you started to employ interstate.

If either of these commencement dates are incorrect you should change the Victorian Reconciliation Period (and interstate, if applicable) to reflect your correct start and, if applicable end, date.

If you started to employ interstate prior to the date you started to employ in Victoria, the interstate start date will be used in the pro-rata deduction calculation. In effect, your Victorian start date will be equal to your interstate start date ensuring the correct maximum deduction is allowed.
