Annual reconciliation not lodged via e-AR by ordinary member

Background

A feature of the e-AR is the ability to display to the Designated Group Employer, the Ordinary Members tax paid and total wages.

This helps the Designated Group Employer complete the group reconciliation efficiently and correctly.

To ensure privacy and secrecy provisions are not breached, the Ordinary Members authority to display their data to the Designated Group Employer is required.

Collection of data for group reconciliation

If the Ordinary Member has not lodged their Annual Reconciliation or if they have lodged their Annual Reconciliation by an alternate method, the Designated Group Employer should contact the ordinary member to obtain their wages and tax paid details to complete the group reconciliation correctly.
