The transferor is the registered owner of the property appearing on the current certificate of title. As a result of the property transaction, the transferor disposes the property to the new owner. The transferor name in the current certificate of title of the property must be the same as in the transfer of land form.
The transferor type may be one of the following:
- Company
- Individual (natural person)
- Individual – Other (e.g. trustee, custodian, legal representative LPR or executor)
- Organisation (e.g. government body, semi-government body or agency)
- Association (e.g. incorporated or unincorporated body)
