Non-group employers
Australian wages are the total of your taxable Victorian wages plus all wages paid in other states and territories, which are taxable under their corresponding payroll tax legislation.
Australian wages for the financial year are required to calculate the actual deduction for the year. If Australian wages are not disclosed, no deduction will be granted.
If you only employ in Victoria during the year, Australian wages will equal the taxable Victorian wages.
Ordinary member of a group
Australian wages are the total of your taxable Victorian wages plus all wages paid in other states and territories which are taxable under their corresponding payroll tax legislation in that jurisdiction.
If you only employ in Victoria during the year, Australian wages will equal the taxable Victorian wages.
Designated group employer
Only include your Interstate wages in the interstate wages field. Group interstate wages are required on the group wages page.

Group Australian wages for the financial year are required to calculate the actual deduction claimed by the Designated Group Employer for the year. If Group Australian wages are not disclosed, no deduction will be granted.
If all members of a group employ only in Victoria during the year, Australian wages will equal the taxable Victorian wages.
