Group Victorian estimated wages are the estimate of the taxable Victorian wages paid by all members of the group.
In the case where interstate wages are paid, the deduction is reduced to reflect the proportion of Victorian wages to Australian wages. This proportional calculation occurs in other states and territories as well, so the employer effectively receives a full deduction Australia-wide.
A key part of the Annual Reconciliation for interstate employers is the recalculation of deduction based on the actual wages. If you do not have a deduction appearing in the Lodge Monthly Return application and you are not an ordinary member of a group, please contact us detailing this error.
